Understanding power
In all the countries exist a type of architecture which attract
attention of people. Some are very old and other current and striking. Others
represent history like monuments, ideology like castles, cathedrals or in
another's case pyramids and skyscrapers.
The forbidden was the Chinese
imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is
located in the center of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For
nearly 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their families, as well
as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. (mundo, 2011)
