Understanding power

In all the countries exist a type of architecture which attract attention of people. Some are very old and other current and striking. Others represent history like monuments, ideology like castles, cathedrals or in another's case pyramids and skyscrapers.

Great Pyramid of Egypt, also known as the Great Pyramid of Cheops was elected Wonder for being the oldest and the only one still lingers of the Wonders of the Ancient World. Being the most famous and largest of all the pyramids of Egypt, considered one of the most impressive buildings of the entire story. It is located on the outskirts of Cairo-Egypt on Giza Plateau, 12 kilometers from the city. (Ikiwaner, 2011)






The forbidden was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the center of Beijing, China, and now houses the Palace Museum. For nearly 500 years, it served as the home of emperors and their families, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. (mundo, 2011) 





The pentagon Across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., stands the Pentagon, headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense and a five-sided concrete and steel symbol of America’s military strength. Encompassing more than 6 million square feet of floor space, the Pentagon ranks among the largest office buildings in the world. (History, 2015)
